Evening Reflections
Where the Day Softly Returns to Light…
Tonight, in the marina felt like a gentle exhale.
The hibiscus were still reaching, even as the sun slipped lower, their soft yellow petals catching the last whispers of light. It reminded me how nature never hesitates to lean toward what nourishes it… even at the very end of the day.
Along the railing, a black-crowned night heron walked with quiet purpose. There’s something so powerful about their stillness, their patience. They don’t rush. They don’t doubt. They simply are.
Out on the water, a little grebe floated by, completely in its own world, ripples forming softly around it like a moving meditation. And in the distance, a sailboat made its way home, gliding across the marina as if it knew exactly where it belonged.
Moments like this don’t ask for anything. They just offer themselves.
And if we pause long enough, we realize…
You are light in human form too.
Grateful for another beautiful evening.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
