Evening Reflections

Where the Day Softly Lets Go…

Tonight, at Oxford Basin, everything moved a little slower… like the world was gently exhaling.

The sky faded from warm gold into soft blue, and the palm trees stood tall like quiet witnesses to the day’s final moments. The water carried little ripples of light, reflecting what was left of the sun, while the birds settled into their own evening rhythm.

I spotted a lone goose standing still along the edge… calm, grounded, completely present. And out on the water, a small group floated together, unbothered, just being. No rush. No noise. Just peace.

Moments like this remind me how much beauty exists in the in-between… not the big, loud moments, but the soft transitions. The ones we almost miss if we don’t slow down.

I held up my message against the fading light, and it felt like the sky itself was echoing the words:

“May your heart never stop feeling the little miracles around you.”

Because they’re everywhere… in the stillness, in the reflections, in the quiet endings that are really just gentle beginnings.

Grateful for tonight.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
