Evening Reflections

Where Joy Begins Again…

Tonight felt like a quiet reset.

The marina held that soft, in-between glow where the day exhales and the night gently arrives. The boats rested like they had stories to tell, but no rush to tell them. Everything slowed down… and somehow, that’s when the beauty shows up the most.

Out on the water, a little grebe was dancing.

Not for anyone. Not for attention. Just because it could.

Spinning in circles, completely in its own world… it reminded me of something simple and powerful: joy doesn’t need an audience.

Above it all, the sky softened into pastels, hibiscus flowers stretched toward the last light, and the seagulls made their quiet journey west, heading home.

And then—this little note in my hand:

A new month

Push yourself

Rejuvenate

Inspire others

Laugh lots

It felt like the perfect message for tonight.

A reminder that every ending carries a beginning inside it. That we don’t have to wait for the perfect moment… we can just start again.

So tonight, I’m choosing to move forward like that little grebe—free, present, and full of joy.

Grateful for the reset.

Grateful for the reminder.

Grateful for this moment.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
