Evening Reflections
The Universe Is Working in My Favor…
Some sunsets don’t arrive with blazing colors. They arrive quietly, wrapped in soft clouds, asking us to slow down enough to notice.
Tonight, in Playa del Rey, the sun slipped gently behind the clouds, leaving behind a warm ribbon of orange that reflected across the water. A sailboat drifted by as if it had nowhere else to be. People walked the jetty, a dinner cruise eased through the harbor, and the moon quietly took its place overhead before the last light had even disappeared.
Then I held up today’s reminder:
“The universe is working in my favor.”
Standing there, it felt true.
Not because every day is perfect, but because every day offers something beautiful if we’re willing to look for it. Tonight, beauty came in soft light, calm water, gentle clouds, and the reminder that even when we can’t see what’s ahead, life is still unfolding exactly as it should.
I’m grateful I showed up for another sunset. They never stop teaching me.
