Evening Reflections

A Little Wink from the Universe…

What an incredibly beautiful evening at Venice Beach!

The sun was glowing a brilliant orange as it slowly disappeared into the ocean. Sailboats drifted across the water, the moon was shining above, and even the seagulls seemed to be enjoying the beautiful sunset. One little dog was happily exploring the shoreline.

Every direction I looked, there was something beautiful to appreciate.

As the sun disappeared, the sky softened into the prettiest shades of pink and lavender. I love how the sky continues to change long after the sun has gone down. It’s such a beautiful reminder that there’s always more beauty to discover if we just keep looking.

And just when I thought the evening couldn’t get any better, I spotted a giant pink octopus peeking out of a building near the parking lot!

It made me smile immediately. It felt like a little wink from the universe!

There were some visitors from Germany admiring it, too. I had noticed the moon earlier, but they hadn’t seen it. So I encouraged them to step back into the parking lot, where they could see the moon shining right above the octopus!

What a fun moment to share with complete strangers!

I gave them some of my little messages, too, and they were so happy to receive them. Such a simple exchange, yet it brought smiles to all of us.

Today’s forecast: 100% chance of finding something to smile about!

I truly believe that when you look for things to smile about, you very often find them.

And sometimes, the greatest joy comes from sharing those little discoveries with someone else.

Tonight was another beautiful reminder that happiness doesn’t always come from grand experiences. Sometimes it’s a sunset, a sailboat, a happy dog, a stranger’s smile, or a giant pink octopus with the moon overhead!

So much beauty, so many little surprises, and so many reasons to be grateful.

Another beautiful evening walking in gratitude. 💜

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
