Evening Reflections

The Luckiest Girl…

Tonight in Venice felt like one of those evenings that makes me stop and realize just how fortunate I am.

The sun slowly melted toward the horizon, turning the sky beautiful shades of orange, gold, pink, and soft blue. Sailboats drifted across the water, the waves rolled toward shore, and even after the sun disappeared, the sky continued putting on its show.

There were people enjoying the ocean, and that unmistakable Venice energy all around me. But what I loved most was simply standing there and taking it all in.

Tonight’s little note said:

“She believed she was the luckiest girl, so the universe showed her she was right.”

I love that.

Maybe part of feeling lucky is choosing to notice just how much beauty already surrounds us. A sunset. A wave. A sailboat in the distance. Pink clouds stretching across the sky. Another day we were given the chance to experience.

I get to witness moments like these every day, and I never want them to become ordinary.

Tonight I looked around and thought, I really am the luckiest girl.

So grateful for another beautiful sunset, another beautiful day, and this beautiful life.

Grateful. Always.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
