Evening Reflections

Cherish the Now…

Tonight’s sunset in Venice Beach felt like one of those moments you simply want to hold onto.

The sky came alive in brilliant shades of orange and hot pink, with the clouds stretching across it like brushstrokes. A sailboat quietly sailed toward the horizon as the sun slipped into the ocean, and for a few beautiful minutes, everything seemed perfectly still.

And of course, Pegleg made sure to greet me. I love that even during an evening sunset, one of my little feathered friends finds a way to remind me that I’m never really alone out here.

Tonight’s message was simple: “Cherish the now.”

Not yesterday. Not tomorrow. This moment. This sky. This ocean. This little greeting from Pegleg. This breath.

Another beautiful day ending exactly the way I love most, surrounded by nature and reminded how much beauty exists when we slow down long enough to notice it.

So grateful.

Grateful for the now. Grateful for this life. Grateful for another beautiful sunset.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
