Evening Reflections

Simply Grateful…

What a beautiful sunset tonight!

The tide was low, and the wet sand reflected the gorgeous golden-orange sky. There is something so peaceful about watching the waves gently roll in while the sun slowly makes its way toward the horizon.

A beautiful seagull stood along the shoreline, enjoying the view, while a faint crescent moon appeared overhead. Even the moon wanted to be part of tonight’s beauty!

Out on the ocean, a sailboat slowly sailed across the horizon, passing near the setting sun. I watched as the sun gradually disappeared into the ocean, leaving behind the most incredible orange glow.

A tiny sanderling came racing along the wet sand, looking as though he was saying, “You’re not gonna catch me!” His little legs were moving so fast! These are the moments that always make me smile.

I love how nature gives us so many reasons to be happy. Sometimes it’s a spectacular sunset, sometimes it’s a little bird running across the beach, and sometimes it’s simply being present long enough to appreciate it all.

As another beautiful day came to an end, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for every little moment.

“I am a magnet for miracles.” ✨

And when we begin to recognize the little miracles all around us, we realize just how extraordinary an ordinary day can be.

Simply grateful. ❤️

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
