Evening Reflections

Have Faith in the Path Ahead…

Tonight’s sunset in Venice Beach was breathtaking. It was one of those evenings when I couldn’t stop watching because the sky seemed to change every few seconds.

The sun slowly dipped toward the ocean, disappearing behind layers of clouds and reappearing in fiery pieces of orange and gold. A ship sailed across the horizon beneath that enormous glowing sun, while behind me the moon was already shining brightly. Sun in one direction, moon in the other. How beautiful is that?

A happy dog came running down the beach, perfectly silhouetted against the reflection of the sunset on the wet sand. Pure joy in motion. 🐾

Out in the water, a surfer sat quietly taking in the view, while another picked up his board and headed straight toward the waves. It felt like the perfect picture for tonight’s message:

“Have faith in the path ahead.”

Sometimes you can’t see exactly where the path is going. You simply have to take that next step, walk into the water, and trust what’s waiting beyond the next wave.

As the sun disappeared, soft pink clouds stretched across the sky. I turned around again and there was the moon, still glowing above Venice. And of course, I found one more little friend, a seagull perched high on a pole, apparently enjoying the pink skies right along with me. 🕊️

Tonight had everything: the sun, the moon, the ocean, a ship on the horizon, surfers in the waves, a happy dog racing across the sand, and one very well-positioned seagull.

Another ordinary evening that felt anything but ordinary.

So grateful for another beautiful day.

Have faith in the path ahead.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
