Morning Reflections
The Joy of Being Known…
Today, the pigeons were overly excited—fluttering, bouncing, bursting with joy. I feel like every day they just get happier to see me, and that feeling never gets old. There’s a quiet beauty in ritual. In showing up. In being known. Pegleg greeted me like always, steady and sweet. Honey Girl was on my shoulder, her presence like a whisper—“I’m here.” And Adonis was perched up high, speaking into the morning air like he had something important to say. It’s impossible not to feel good when you’re surrounded by this kind of love. The seasons are shifting. The air feels softer, cooler. Autumn is arriving, and I love it. There’s comfort in these moments. In the rhythm. In the recognition. In the way we all show up for each other. I’m grateful for this morning. For the birds. For the change. For the joy of being part of something gentle and good.
Morning Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for joyful pigeons, Pegleg’s steady greeting, Honey Girl’s quiet loyalty, and Adonis speaking from above. Grateful for the comfort of ritual and the soft arrival of Autumn.
