Morning Reflections
The Energy of the Tide…
This morning the beach stretched out in quiet reflection as the low tide revealed a wide ribbon of wet sand beneath a sky full of textured gray clouds. The waves rolled in gently, drawing silver lines across the shore.
Adonis was already in his usual spot, perched high on the light post, surveying the world below. There is something reassuring about seeing him there, like an old friend standing watch over the morning.
The pigeons spotted me from a distance and came flying toward me. No matter how many times it happens, it never loses its magic. Their excitement always feels like a reminder that joy can be simple.
Moo was especially happy today, greeting me with that unmistakable smile that instantly brightens my day. Out on the water, seabirds followed a fishing boat, hopeful for breakfast, while an American flag danced in the breeze near the jetty.
My quote this morning felt perfectly placed:
“When something is right for you, it will give you energy. That’s how you’ll know.”
The ocean, the birds, the familiar faces, and these quiet moments always leave me feeling more energized than when I arrived.
Grateful. ❤️
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
