Morning Reflections
Beauty Has Been Waiting…
There is something special about arriving at the Venice Pier before the world is fully awake. Low tide had stretched the beach wide open, and the quiet felt like an invitation to slow down.
The morning began with a happy dog trotting along the shoreline, wearing the kind of smile that reminds you joy doesn’t have to be complicated. Then the birds arrived, filling the sky with excitement as the sun rose behind a blanket of clouds. The light wasn’t loud. It was gentle, almost heavenly, glowing through the clouds like a promise.
Today’s message couldn’t have been more perfect:
“Slow down today. Beauty has been waiting patiently for you to notice it.”
Domino came flying the moment I called her name. That feeling never gets old. She has changed my life in ways I never could have imagined, reminding me every day that trust, patience, and love can create extraordinary moments.
The newest addition, Harlequin, sat proudly on the rail, so calm and beautiful, as if posing just for the sunrise. Then I watched Adonis dive into the ocean, catch his breakfast, and soar back home with effortless strength.
Every morning offers countless little miracles. We just have to be willing to notice them.
Today, I did.
Grateful. 💛
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
