Morning Reflections
Sunshine and Joy All Around
We are truly blessed with the best weather—today was no exception. A beautiful, golden Friday morning wrapped the Pier in warmth and light. Adonis overhead on his lookout spot, ever watchful, while the pigeons below threw their usual celebration. Just when I think they’ve reached peak excitement, they surprise me again—fluttering, hopping, filling the air with their contagious joy. It’s impossible not to smile.
The energy is electric, but soft. Happy, but grounding. There’s something about starting the day surrounded by this kind of aliveness—it fills me up, lifts me, and sends me off glowing. I wish everyone could feel this way. To be greeted by nature’s enthusiasm. To be reminded that joy doesn’t need a reason—it just needs a moment.
