Morning Reflections
Fluttering Joy at the Pier
This morning, the Pier came alive with a kind of magic only sunshine and pigeons can conjure. They danced around me—hopping on and off with such delight, as if the day itself had wings. Their fluttering filled the air with laughter, and I watched as passersby smiled, caught in the ripple of joy. There’s something sacred in these small encounters. The way light touches feathers. The way movement becomes music. The way happiness spreads without needing words. I’m grateful for this moment—for the birds, the breeze, and the quiet celebration of being part of something so alive.
Morning Gratitude Thought
Today began with wings and warmth. The pigeons greeted me like old friends—playful, lighthearted, full of life. Their joy became mine, and together we filled the Pier with movement and laughter. I’m grateful for the way nature shows up, unannounced but always welcome. For sunshine that wraps around me like a soft promise. For the smiles of strangers who feel the ripple of this shared delight.
This morning reminded me: happiness doesn’t need to be loud. It just needs to be felt.
