Morning Reflections:
Stacked Wings and a Late Arrival
I was a little later than usual this morning, but they didn’t seem to mind. From all directions, they came—wings flapping like little flags of welcome. Domino led the charge, full force as always, and Honey Girl was right behind her, like a loyal echo in flight. Before I knew it, I had a handful of birds and a heart full of laughter. They stacked themselves on my outstretched hand like tiny, feathered cheerleaders. From a distance, I’m sure it looked ridiculous. Up close—it felt like pure happiness.
Birds Seen Today:
- Domino — storming the scene, first in line for joy
- Honey Girl — sweet shadow, always close behind
- Others — flying in like confetti on the breeze
Todays Gratitude:
- For showing up late and still being welcomed.
- For little bundles of energy who land without hesitation.
- For the sheer silliness that joy sometimes wears.
