Morning Reflections:

Crooked Charm and Coastal Quiet

Honey Girl was there, of course—my morning constant. She looked at me the way only she can, crooked-footed and all heart. That gaze… it’s part recognition, part conversation. And then she was on me, like always—gentle, sure, familiar. The others must’ve slept in. But even in their absence, the beach sang its quiet song. Birds hopped on and off like flickers of joy. And I stood still, just grateful to be part of it. Some mornings speak louder than others. This one whispered. And I heard it clearly.

Today's Gratitude:

For shoulder landings and sleepy wings. For crooked looks that feel like love. And for the sacred peace that waits at the edge of the ocean.
