Morning Reflections

My Calm Era…

There’s something special about watching trust happen slowly.

Each morning I’ve been here in Texas, the animals seem to get a little more comfortable with me. My dad’s llama, who usually keeps his distance and simply passes through, is gradually getting closer. Maybe he’s finally decided I’m okay.

Even the wild cat came out to see me this morning. And the donkeys were happily enjoying their breakfast, seemingly less concerned about having me nearby. They’re getting used to me, and I love it.

Maybe there’s a little lesson tucked inside all of this.

“I’m in my calm era. I just let things be.”

No chasing. No forcing. No rushing.

Just showing up, being still, and allowing things to unfold in their own time.

Sometimes when we stop trying so hard to make something happen, life quietly moves a little closer to us.

Wide-open spaces, curious animals, a beautiful morning, and another reminder that the simplest moments can become some of the sweetest.

Always grateful.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
