Morning Reflections

Gray Skies & Wide Open Spaces…

This morning was gray and quiet, but there was still so much beauty waiting to be noticed.

A hawk flew overhead against the cloudy sky, while the wide-open fields seemed to stretch on forever. My dad’s llama made another appearance, casually passing through as if he knows he’s become part of my morning videos. The donkeys were busy eating breakfast, and even the cat came out to greet me.

Then there was the sweetest little dove perched up high, another tiny reminder that there is always something beautiful to see when we take the time to look.

I love how different my mornings in Texas are from my mornings at the pier. Here, everything feels slower. The open land, the animals, the quiet skies. Nature doesn’t have to be colorful or dramatic to be beautiful. Sometimes a gray morning has its own kind of peace.

“May you be happy.

May you be healthy.

May you find peace.

May you be free.”

Today, I’m grateful for the quiet moments, the unexpected visitors, and another morning with my eyes open to all of it.

Grateful. Always. 🤍
