Morning Reflections
Wide Open & Grateful…
There’s something about a beautiful Texas morning that makes you want to slow down and simply look around.
The sky seemed to stretch forever today, filled with the biggest white puffy clouds drifting across that gorgeous blue. I love these wide-open spaces. There’s so much room to breathe, notice, and appreciate the simple things.
And apparently, the donkeys were appreciating the morning too. One was rolling around on the ground, rubbing his back and having the best time, while the other discovered that the equipment made a perfectly good back scratcher. They have such funny little personalities.
Then my dad’s llama wandered by, quietly doing his own thing, as usual.
No ocean. No pier. No pigeons flying toward me. Just a completely different landscape reminding me that beauty changes wherever we go, but it’s always there when we take the time to notice it.
“The simplest moments can fill the biggest spaces in your heart.”
Today it was puffy clouds, wide-open Texas land, a couple of happy donkeys, and a llama passing by.
Simple. Beautiful. Enough.
So grateful for another day and another view of this beautiful life.
Grateful. Always.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
