Morning Reflections
Morning Roll Call Under Gray Skies…
This morning felt like one of those quiet reminders that beauty doesn’t always arrive wrapped in sunshine. Gray clouds stretched across the sky like soft brushstrokes, and the waves rolled in with their own peaceful rhythm.
The pigeons came circling from every direction, always bringing that little instant boost of happiness. Honey Girl was so excited, perched on my arm like she was checking in for our morning tradition. Those moments never get old.
The night herons had already lined up for breakfast duty, patiently watching the fishermen below and hoping for a fish to come their way. One of them had his little punk-rock feather blowing wildly in the wind, looking like he woke up and said, “This is today’s hairstyle.”
It made me smile because nature always has a way of adding tiny surprises to ordinary moments.
And as I stood there surrounded by wings, waves, and familiar faces, I was reminded:
“Your positive energy can light up the world around you.”
Maybe that’s why the birds keep finding me… or maybe I keep finding them.
Grateful.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
