Morning Reflections

Gray June Morning…

Some mornings don’t arrive with bright colors or dramatic skies. They arrive quietly.

This morning, the ocean wore shades of gray, paddle boarders glided across calm water, and a plane climbed into the clouds above. Adonis sat high on his light post, keeping watch over the pier, while the black-crowned night herons patiently waited for breakfast. The pigeons gathered happily around their morning feast, and a pelican sailed gracefully above the water, reminding me that beauty doesn’t need sunshine to shine.

My little message today read:

“You need to remember your reason why.”

Sometimes that’s exactly what we need, especially on the ordinary days.

Grateful for the ocean, the birds, and another peaceful June morning.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
