Morning Reflections
Beauty in Every Day Things…
The ocean wore shades of silver and blue this morning, wrapped in June clouds and gentle light. The waves rolled in with their steady rhythm while surfers carved graceful lines across the water.
One of the highlights of the morning was seeing Sterling. His coloring is so unique that he practically glows among the other night herons. Sometimes nature creates something so distinctive that you can’t help but stop and admire it.
The pigeons were in great spirits today, flying toward me with excitement, while the crows decided they wanted to join the fun too. Apparently, word has spread that peanuts are on the menu. Watching all of them gather together always makes me smile.
I also stopped to visit David as he worked on another beautiful painting. I love seeing artists bring their vision to life. Beauty has a way of inspiring more beauty.
As I walked back to my car, the Venice Canals offered one final gift. Two ducks were fast asleep on top of a kayak, completely content and unbothered by the world around them. It felt like the perfect reminder to slow down and enjoy the simple moments.

Today was full of beautiful things.
