Morning Reflections
A Beautiful World, Always Changing…
What a beautiful reminder today that no two moments are ever quite the same.
This morning began with a magnificent sky. Dramatic clouds stretched across the horizon as the sun slowly rose, painting everything in beautiful shades of gold and peach.
The surfers were out catching waves, a pelican flew gracefully overhead, and the moon was still shining above. The sun and moon sharing the same beautiful sky. What a gift!
And then came the wings! 🕊️
My feathered friends spotted me and started flying toward me. Crybaby came out to greet me, followed by Pegleg. There is something so special about being recognized by these beautiful creatures. Their excitement is contagious, and they never fail to make me smile.
I returned later in the afternoon, and I could hardly believe the transformation.
The beach looked completely different!
The dramatic morning sky had given way to brilliant blue skies filled with big, beautiful, puffy white clouds. The water left behind on the sand created what looked like lakes of mirrors, reflecting the clouds above.
It was absolutely breathtaking.
And there was Clubbie, coming out to see me! ❤️
I couldn’t help thinking about how much life is like the sky. Everything is constantly changing. Sometimes there are dark clouds, sometimes brilliant sunshine, and sometimes the most beautiful reflections appear where we least expect them.
We don’t have to look for something different to find beauty. Sometimes we just have to look at the same thing differently.
This morning and afternoon were completely different, yet both were beautiful in their own way.
Just like each one of us.
Today’s message was “Be You Always.”
What a perfect reminder that we don’t have to be like anyone else. Our differences are what make this world so interesting and beautiful.
I’m so grateful for the ocean, the changing skies, the birds who brighten my days, and the opportunity to experience these little miracles.
The best things in life really are free. We just have to take the time to notice them.
Look up. Look around. Be kind. Be yourself. And never stop finding reasons to be grateful.
