Evening Reflections

Look Up…

There was something especially peaceful about tonight in Santa Monica. The sun slipped quietly below the horizon, painting the sky with soft gold and blue. A plane passed overhead, carrying someone toward a new adventure, while a tiny hummingbird appeared as if it had come just to say hello. Moments like these remind me that joy doesn’t always arrive with fireworks. Sometimes it comes with a whisper.

One of my favorite things to do is simply look up. The palms seem to stretch endlessly toward the sky, reminding me to keep my perspective lifted.

When I arrived home, I stepped out of my car and instinctively looked up one more time. There, peeking down from a tree, was a curious little raccoon waiting to end the day with one last surprise. It felt like nature’s gentle reminder that beautiful things often appear when we remember to raise our eyes.

“You see beautiful things when you look up in life.”

Today was filled with quiet reminders that beauty is always around us. Sometimes all we have to do is notice.

Grateful. 💛
