Evening Reflections
Look at the Moon…
Tonight, at Venice Beach, I just couldn’t keep my eyes off the moon. It peeked through drifting clouds, disappearing for a moment before shining through again, making the sky feel quiet, mysterious, and alive.
The sunset slowly slipped behind the mountains while the waves rolled onto the shore. A lone sailboat floated along the horizon, unhurried, as if it knew there was nowhere else it needed to be.
One seagull stood proudly on the sand with its wings stretched wide, almost like it was posing for a photograph. Another walked by carrying what looked like applesauce, reminding me that even the smallest moments can make me smile.
The moon, the clouds, the ocean, the birds… every piece of the evening fit together perfectly.
“I am forever a ‘Look at the Moon’ person.”
And nights like this remind me exactly why.
Grateful. 🤍🌙
