Evening Reflections

Vote for the Sunset…

Tonight’s Venice Beach sunset arrived wrapped in layers of dramatic clouds, giving the sky a quiet, moody beauty. The moon made a game of hide-and-seek, appearing and disappearing behind the clouds as if it wanted to make sure we were paying attention.

The palm trees stood tall against the evening sky, and the seagulls seemed completely at home in the wind, hovering effortlessly overhead. One of my favorite moments was seeing the American flag waving strongly against the gray-blue backdrop. It felt like a reminder that even on cloudy days, there is still something beautiful flying above us.

The graffiti walls were alive with color and personality, including the bold message: “Vote for Spencer Pratt.” Venice always has a way of surprising me. LA needs you! Go Spencer!

As I made my way back to my car, I looked up at the glowing Venice sign. It felt like the perfect ending to another evening walk filled with little reminders to slow down and notice what’s around me.

Tonight, I’m grateful for moonlit clouds, ocean breezes, palm trees, and the simple gift of being present.

Grateful. 💙
