Evening Reflections
A Little Venice Magic…
What a beautiful sunset tonight in Venice!
My evening began beneath the iconic Venice sign, followed by a walk past the famous mural, colorful graffiti walls, and those magnificent palm trees silhouetted against the golden sky. There’s something so special about Venice. Everywhere you turn, there’s creativity, personality, and beauty waiting to be discovered.
The big metal sculpture standing among the palm trees is another reminder of what makes this place so unique. Even the graffiti-covered walls tell their own stories.
And then there were the pelicans! ❤️
I could watch these magnificent birds all day. The way they maneuver in and out of formation, gliding and turning together without ever crashing into one another, is incredible. They work together so beautifully, each one finding its place. I think we could learn a lot from them. There’s something wonderful about moving through life together while still giving each other room to fly.
As the sun descended, the sky turned beautiful shades of gold and orange. The waves came crashing over the breakwater, sending water high into the air. Such an incredible display of nature’s power!
One of my favorite things is watching people stop to enjoy the view. For a little while, everyone seems to forget about the rush of life and simply appreciate what’s right in front of them. It’s such a beautiful thing.
And tonight, there were so many reminders to look up.
From the palm trees reaching into the sky to the birds soaring overhead, there was beauty everywhere.
As I walked back home, I looked up one more time, and there was the magnificent moon, glowing through the clouds. What a beautiful way to end the evening!
Tonight’s message says it perfectly:
“There is so much life left to live, so much beauty left to see and so much magic yet to be created.”
And isn’t that the truth?
Every day offers us another opportunity to discover something beautiful, learn something new, make someone smile, or create a little magic of our own.
We don’t have to travel far to find it. Sometimes we just need to slow down, open our eyes, and remember to look up.
So much magic all around us, if we choose to see it.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
