Morning Reflections

Feast in the Morning Light

The shoreline came alive today—wings in motion, chatter in the air, and a quiet joy in every shared moment. This morning, everyone was looking for a feast. The snowy egrets danced across the water like ballerinas chasing breakfast. Adonis perched high on the pole, sharpening his talons with quiet focus. The terns were especially chatty, diving for fish with sharp precision and louder opinions. The pigeons were content with their peanuts, and Honey Girl—true to form—found me again. She always does. There’s something comforting in that kind of consistency.

Morning Gratitude Thought

Grateful for the dance of egrets, the presence of Adonis, the chatter of terns, and the quiet joy of being found by Honey Girl.

Hand holds up small blue note against sunset sky and ocean while sun creates reflective glow on calm water surface.
