Morning Reflections

Celebration in the Parking Lot

Even before the sky had fully stretched, joy was already waiting. They all met me in the parking lot—feathers fluffed, paws pattering, even a squirrel in celebration. Domino finally arrived, and Honey Girl perched like a song on my shoulder, cooing her happiness. They remind me daily that connection is never small. Being here teaches me that each moment is unrepeatable. It may wear familiar colors, but it dances differently each time. I saw new faces today—soft, curious, unnamed for now. I watched dogs race at low tide, reflections stretching behind them like playful shadows. And on the walk back, a yellow rose reaching for sunlight whispered: look closer. Beauty doesn’t hide, but it does require eyes willing to see.

Morning Gratitude Thought

  • Feathered friends and tiny celebrations greeted me with joy.
  • Honey Girl’s happiness sang from my shoulder, reminding me I’m loved.
  • Each moment, though familiar, is a new gift waiting to be noticed.
  • Dogs dancing at low tide, a yellow rose stretching toward light—beauty blooms in every direction.

“They met me with feathers, paws, and joy in the parking lot. Even a squirrel joined the celebration. Unrepeatable, unforgettable.”
