Morning Reflections
Birds Notice Too…
This morning felt like a reminder of one of life’s greatest gifts.
At some point in your adult life, you notice birds. Not just as part of the background, but as individuals with personalities, habits, friendships, and stories. Once that happens, the world becomes richer.
The pigeons were lined up on the railing waiting for breakfast, and within moments they were flying toward me from every direction. They piled on top of one another, so excited for peanuts that they could barely contain themselves. Domino heard her name and came flying in. Honey Girl arrived too, making it very clear that sharing remains optional in her world.
Sterling was on the railing, patiently waiting for his fish and watching everything unfold.
As I stood on the pier beneath the gray morning sky, surrounded by wings, waves, and familiar faces, I was reminded how much joy these birds bring into my life every single day.
“No one sees what you see, even if they see it too.”
Maybe that’s true. But I think the birds see it too.
Life is beautiful. 🕊️❤️
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
