Wings of Trust, A Beautiful Sunday Morning…
What a beautiful Sunday morning at the pier!
The sky was filled with clouds, the ocean was peaceful, and my feathered friends made sure to give me the most beautiful welcome with their incredible flybys. There is something so special about watching them soar through the sky, knowing that some of those little wings are coming to greet me.
But today was extra special.
Angel came to me for the very first time!
It’s difficult to put into words how much that moment meant to me. Building trust with these beautiful little creatures takes time, patience, consistency, and love. You cannot rush it. You simply show up, day after day, and allow them to decide when they’re ready.
And when that moment finally happens, it’s one of the most rewarding feelings in the world.
The birds lined up along the railing, waiting for their morning visit. Honey Girl came rushing up from behind, super excited as always. She never fails to make me smile!
My little buddy, with his one foot, was as determined as ever to jump right into my bag. He has the sweetest personality, and I absolutely adore him.
Crybaby made sure I noticed her, with her precious little sounds, and of course, Pegleg was there too. Every one of them has a personality, and every one holds a special place in my heart.
As I watched them flying freely above the ocean, I thought about today’s message:
“Dreams don’t have deadlines. Keep chasing them, no matter how long it takes.”
What a beautiful reminder.
Just like earning Angel’s trust, some of the most meaningful things in life take time. We don’t always see progress happening, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.
Sometimes the greatest rewards come from simply continuing to show up, believing, and never giving up.
Whether it’s a dream you’re chasing, a relationship you’re building, or a better version of yourself you’re becoming, don’t put an expiration date on what matters to you.
Life has a beautiful way of surprising us when we least expect it.
Today, my surprise came on little wings. 🕊️
I’m so grateful for these beautiful birds, the lessons they teach me, and the opportunity to experience moments that money could never buy.
Another beautiful morning, another reason to be grateful.
