Morning Reflections
Wings in the Water…
Sunday mornings on the pier always hold something special. Today, I watched a guy foil surfing —gliding above the water like it was second nature. He made it look so effortless, like flying with the ocean beneath him. The pigeons were already waiting, full of excitement. Honey Girl, of course, made sure she was on me—her way of saying, “I missed you.” That kind of love never gets old. Before I left, I turned on the fountain and watched them bathe. It’s the sweetest thing. They turn sideways, lift their wings, and let the water fall over them like a gentle blessing. Each one has their own way of showing joy. Their personalities shine through in the smallest gestures. I’m so grateful for these moments—for the birds, for the water, for the quiet joy of being part of their world. They are the sweetest birds. And this morning was a gift.
Morning Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for foil surfing gliding across the water, Honey Girl’s gentle presence, and the pigeons bathing with joy. Grateful for the sweetness of wings in the fountain and the love that greets me every morning.
