Morning Reflections

Where Happiness Multiplies…

There are mornings that feel quiet… and then there are mornings that feel alive in every direction.

Today was one of those.

Before I even fully arrived, the birds did. Wings cutting through the soft gray sky, coming toward me with that same excitement I’ve come to love so much. There’s something about being greeted like that… something that reminds me how simple joy really is.

The pigeons were especially happy today. Splashing, playing, turning a simple water station into their own little spa. It made me smile watching them enjoy something so small, so necessary. I always make sure they have water. Someone keeps throwing their dish away, but I just keep bringing another one back.

Because they matter.

Because kindness isn’t about convenience… it’s about consistency.

Out on the water, a grebe floated peacefully, completely unbothered, like it understood something we often forget… that being present is enough.

A foil surfer glided across the surface like he had found a secret layer of joy just above the ocean. Effortless. Free. Fully in it.

And along the shoreline, dogs ran with that beautiful, unfiltered happiness… the kind that doesn’t ask permission. One carried a toy proudly through the water, like it had just won something big. Maybe it had.

Watching all of this, I couldn’t help but feel it… that quiet, steady reminder:

“Be so happy that when other people look at you, they become happy too.”

Because happiness doesn’t stay contained.

It moves.

It ripples.

It multiplies.

Just like the birds taking flight…

just like the waves returning…

Just like a small act of care that keeps showing up, no matter what.

And maybe that’s what this morning was really about.

Not just seeing the beauty…

but being part of it.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
