Morning Reflections

What’s for You Will Find You…

There is something about mornings on the pier that feels more special every single day. It’s become a celebration I never want to miss. The moment I arrive, they somehow know. They’re waiting for me, watching for me, and before long, wings are coming toward me from every direction.

This morning the sky was breathtaking. Layers of clouds stretched above the ocean while the sun broke through, painting the water with beautiful golden light. The waves rolled toward shore, and the pigeons lined the railing before taking flight, circling around me in their usual joyful welcome.

It’s difficult to put into words what it feels like to be recognized and trusted by these little souls. No matter where I am on the pier, they always find me. And, of course, Pegleg made sure he found me too. That always makes my heart smile.

The quote I held up this morning couldn’t have been more perfect:

“What’s for you will find you.”

Maybe that’s one of the beautiful lessons nature keeps teaching me. We don’t always have to chase what belongs in our lives. Sometimes we simply have to keep showing up with love, and what is meant for us somehow knows the way.

Another beautiful morning. Another celebration in the sky. Another reminder of how much joy is waiting for us when we notice it.

Forever grateful.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
