Morning Reflections

We Rise by Lifting Others…

This morning at the Venice Pier felt like a quiet miracle. The kind that doesn’t announce itself, it just shows up and wraps you in calm.

The sky was impossibly blue, the air crisp and gentle, and the weather was so perfect it felt almost unreal. The birds were especially happy today, hopping on and off me like it had been far too long, even though it was only yesterday. Their joy is contagious. There’s no overthinking it, no analyzing it, you just smile because your heart knows exactly what’s happening.

Sailboats dotted the horizon, gliding effortlessly across the water, reminding me how beautiful it is when things move at their own pace. No rushing. No forcing. Just trust.

As I stood there holding my message, Domino flew right into the frame, wings open wide, perfectly timed. The words read: We rise by lifting others. And in that moment, it felt like more than a quote. It felt like a truth the morning itself was echoing back to me.

These birds lift me every day with their excitement, their presence, their trust. The ocean lifts me with its rhythm. The light lifts me by simply showing up, no matter what.

And maybe that’s how it works. We don’t have to do anything grand. We just show up with kindness, with openness, with a willingness to share joy. That’s how we rise. Together.

Capturing beauty, sharing li.

Morning Gratitude Thought:

I’m grateful for perfect mornings, happy birds, and the simple reminder that when we lift others with kindness, we lift ourselves too.
