Evening Reflections
Under My Favorite Tree…
There are places that quietly become part of us. For me, it’s this tree overlooking the bluffs.
Tonight I watched the sun slowly settle behind the mountains while the wetlands below reflected the last golden light of the day. Behind me, the moon was already climbing, as if sunrise and moonrise had agreed to share the same sky for just a little while.
I held today’s message in my hand:
“This is your moment.”
What a beautiful reminder. We spend so much time waiting for the perfect time, the perfect opportunity, or the perfect version of ourselves. But life is happening right now, in this breath, this sunset, this quiet moment beneath a familiar tree.
Tonight reminded me that gratitude doesn’t need a grand occasion. Sometimes it simply needs a place to pause, a sky to admire, and a heart willing to notice.
I’m grateful for another beautiful sunset, another moonrise, and another chance to be fully present.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
