Morning Reflections
Trust What You Can’t Yet See…
Some mornings arrive dressed in brilliant color. Others arrive wrapped in soft gray. Today was one of those quiet gray mornings, but it was beautiful in its own way.
The water looked like glass, reflecting the peaceful stillness all around me. Before long, the pigeons gathered for breakfast, and the moment I held out my hand, they came flying in from every direction. That feeling never gets old. Their excitement reminds me that joy doesn’t have to be loud to be unforgettable.
Looking up, Adonis was in his usual place, high on his post, watching over the pier like a faithful guardian. Out on the water, I spotted a seagull having the time of its life, splashing and bathing without a care in the world. Sometimes happiness really is that simple.
On my walk back, I saw Clubbie. Every time I see her, I’m reminded that resilience has nothing to do with having a perfect story. It has everything to do with continuing anyway.
Today’s message felt especially fitting:
“The version of you you’re becoming will require you to trust what you can’t yet see.”
We don’t always get to see what’s ahead, but we can choose to trust the path, embrace the process, and keep moving forward with gratitude.
This beautiful little pier continues to teach me that every single morning.
I’m so grateful.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
