Morning Reflections

They Come When I’m Still…

This morning reminded me that presence is a language. I didn’t call out. I didn’t move quickly. I didn’t ask for anything. I simply stood in gratitude — and the birds came. There’s something deeply humbling about being trusted by nature. Birds don’t come close unless something feels safe. Unless something feels familiar. And in that moment, I realized it wasn’t about me doing anything special — it was about being still enough to be felt. So often we’re taught to chase, to prove, to become more. But nature responds to who we already are when we soften. The note in my hand read: You are not a one in a million. You are a once in a lifetime. And as the wings passed by, it felt like the universe quietly agreeing. This morning’s gratitude is for presence. For moments when nothing is forced. For the reminder that when we are gentle with ourselves, the world leans in. May you allow yourself to be still today. You might be surprised who finds you.

Morning Gratitude Thought:

Today I’m grateful for stillness —for the quiet. moments where I don’t have to reach, because what’s meant for me already knows where I am.
