Morning Reflections

They Chose Me…

This morning felt like a reunion written by the sky. The fog was rolling in from the west, soft and quiet, like a secret drifting across the ocean. When I turned and looked back south, the sun was shining brightly, as if it had been waiting for me to notice it. Two worlds in one moment… mist on one side, light on the other.

And then they came. The birds greeted me with such excitement today, as if we hadn’t seen each other in ages, even though it had only been one day. It was a beautiful rush of wings and familiar faces, circling and flying toward me with pure enthusiasm. Their joy felt bigger because of yesterday’s absence, like we were all making up for lost time.

It’s hard to describe the feeling I get when I see them all rushing towards me with such enthusiasm. It’s the most beautiful feeling ever.

There is something so powerful about being chosen by joy. About being recognized by these small wild souls who don’t owe me anything… and yet show up anyway. Their excitement wraps around me like a warm blanket made of feathers and light.

This morning reminded me how much these simple reunions matter. How showing up again makes everything brighter. How love doesn’t always come in words, but sometimes in wings. I am so grateful that they chose me.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.

Morning Gratitude Thought:

Fog rolled in from the west, sunshine waited in the south, and my bird friends rushed toward me like a joyful reunion. It’s hard to describe the feeling I get when I see them all rushing towards me with such enthusiasm. It’s the most beautiful feeling ever. I am so grateful that they chose me.
