Evening Reflections

The Tree That Knows Me

Tonight’s sunset unfolded over the bluffs, quiet and golden. I sat in my favorite spot—beneath the tree that feels like it was planted just for me.

From there, the view stretches wide: ocean pulsing gently, light curling around the hills, and the world exhaling toward night. It’s a lookout, yes—but more than that. It’s a place of knowing. A place that welcomes me back without question. The perfect end before the weekend. No fireworks, no ceremony. Just tree, light, and me.

Evening Gratitude Thought

  • Grateful for trees that feel like companions.
  • For bluffs that open wide.
  • And for sunsets that whisper instead of shout.
