Morning Reflections

The Quiet That Speaks…

This morning on the pier was beautifully quiet. The kind of quiet that doesn’t ask for anything—just offers space to listen. Adonis was perched high on his pole, steady and watchful. Pegleg greeted me with his usual grace, and the pigeons were still tucked into their own rhythm. I came a little earlier today, so I must’ve missed their usual flurry of joy. But I’ll see them later. There’s something sacred in these rituals. In showing up for yourself, even when the world is quiet. Especially when the world is quiet. I’ve learned that answers come in stillness. That peace isn’t something we chase—it’s something we allow. Starting the day this way feels like a gift. A gentle reminder that presence is powerful, and that when we care for ourselves, we show up better for others. Wishing you a beautiful Monday.

Morning Gratitude Thought:

Grateful for quiet mornings, for Adonis and Pegleg, and for the stillness that holds space for answers. Grateful for the ritual of showing up—for myself, and for those I love.
