Evening Reflections

The Moon Stole the Show

Even without sunlight, the evening glowed—roses in bloom, palms reaching skyward, and the moon rising like a quiet spotlight. Tonight, I walked through Palisades Park. The sun was faint through the clouds, but that only made me notice everything else more deeply. The pink roses were radiant against the gray, soft and bold all at once. I did my usual backbend to capture the palm trees—my favorite way to see the sky stretch. But tonight, the moon stole the show. It hovered above the horizon with quiet authority, casting a silver hush over the park. A perfect way to end the weekend—gentle, reflective, and full of small wonders.

Evening Gratitude Thought

Grateful for the moon’s quiet brilliance, for roses that bloom without applause, and for the joy of seeing the world upside down through a palm tree lens.

A pink rose blooms against a sunset sky with a handwritten note reading 'The universe is working in my favor'.
