Morning Reflections

The Moon Changed My Direction…

This morning, I was headed to the gym. Routine. Discipline. Forward motion. But the moon had other plans. It was glowing so boldly over the ocean that it felt personal. Like it was calling my name. There are moments in life that don’t ask politely. They tug at you. They stop you mid-step and say, you don’t want to miss this, do you?

So, I turned toward the water instead. I worked out later.

The ocean was quiet. The moon hung low and golden, slowly settling behind Malibu like it was clocking out after a beautiful night shift. The waves shimmered beneath it, and everything felt still in that sacred way that makes you aware you’re standing inside something special.

Nature has this way of interrupting us in the best possible way.

Later, the sun rose and warmed the pier. I went to feed the birds, and when I called Domino, she came right to me. Wings open. Certain. Trusting. That simple exchange always feels like confirmation that I am exactly where I’m supposed to be.

Moments like this teach me something every single day:

To live in the present.

To live in the moment.

To make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.

And today’s lesson?

Sometimes discipline means going to the gym.

Sometimes wisdom means turning toward the moon.

I am so grateful for a life that keeps calling me into awareness.

Big heart.

Big energy.

Big aura.

Big love.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.

Morning Gratitude Thought:

This morning, I learned that not all detours are distractions. Sometimes they’re invitations. The moon reminded me that beauty doesn’t wait for a better schedule. When something sacred calls you, answer it. Live in the present. Live in the moment. Make it so beautiful that it’s worth remembering. Grateful beyond words.
