Morning Reflections
The Last Day of Summer…
I can’t believe it’s the last day of summer. This morning felt like a quiet celebration—being greeted by all the birds, and Frankie's squirrel--each one showing up in their own way. The ravens have joined in now, adding their deep voices to the chorus. Pegleg, as always, walked with me—down the pier and back again. His loyalty never wavers. The pigeons were bursting with excitement, fluttering around like joy in motion. I feel so good knowing I make a difference in their lives. That’s the reason we’re all here, isn’t it? To show up with love. To care. I’ve decided that from here on out, I’m only putting my energy into things that are good and focused on happiness. I want people who come into contact with me to feel good. I want to leave the world better because I was here. And this morning, with the birds and the breeze and the soft goodbye of summer—I felt that truth in every step.
Morning Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for Pegleg’s walk beside me, for the ravens joining in, and for the joy of making a difference. Grateful for the last day of summer and the promise to live with love and light.
