Evening Reflections
The Horses Made Up for It…
Tonight’s sunset was quiet. No dramatic fire in the sky. No exploding colors spilling across the horizon. Just soft clouds drifting over wide open land and long dirt roads stretching farther than the eye could follow.
But sometimes nature surprises you in gentler ways.
Two horses slowly walked toward me through the field as if they had been expecting me all along. One came right up to the fence with the sweetest curious eyes and the funniest personality, sticking out its tongue like it had rehearsed the moment for the camera. The other stood quietly nearby, calm and steady beneath the evening sky.
And suddenly, the sunset didn’t matter anymore.
The peacefulness of the moment became the beauty. The wind moving through the grass. The stillness of the open plains. The feeling of being small in the middle of something so wide and alive.
I held up one of my little messages that read:
“When you shine from within, you are a magnet for all that is good.”
Tonight felt like proof of that. Sometimes when your heart is open, beautiful moments find their way to you on long dirt roads in the middle of nowhere. 🤎🐎
Grateful for soft evenings, gentle souls, and unexpected connections.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
