Morning Reflections
The Day You Remember…
Foggy Veterans Day today. A quiet kind of reverence in the air. So grateful for those who’ve served—for the freedom to walk this beach, to breathe this fog, to listen to birdsong. And the birds were so happy today. The fog makes everything feel softer, more sacred. A friend of mine on the pier fed the pigeons for the first time. I told him, “You’ll remember this day.” My day was January 4th. The first time Domino flew into my hand. It changes you. It slows you down. You start noticing things you didn’t see before. The way wings shimmer in the mist. The way presence feels like a gift. It’s the most beautiful thing ever. Grateful for the fog, the freedom, and the moments that change us.
Morning Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for foggy skies, quiet reverence, and the day Domino flew into my hand—January 4th, the day everything shifted.
