Evening Reflections
Take the Scenic Route...
Tonight’s sunset at Fisherman’s Village felt like a gentle reminder that not every journey needs to be rushed.
The clouds were brushed with soft shades of gold and peach as silhouettes of birds crossed the evening sky. A pelican floated peacefully in the harbor, completely content with the moment. Later, another pelican glided overhead as if it truly had nowhere it needed to be… just enjoying the scenic route.
The hibiscus flowers stretched toward the last rays of sunlight while the boats rested quietly in the marina, reflecting the warm glow of another beautiful day.
One quote caught my attention:
“I’m in no rush. I will take the scenic route.”
It perfectly matched the evening.
As I walked back to my car, I looked up and saw another simple reminder painted on a building:
Be Kind.
Sometimes the most meaningful messages find us exactly when we need them.
Grateful for sunsets, grateful for birds, grateful for slowing down, and grateful for reminders that kindness is always worth carrying with us.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
