Evening Reflections
Be Kind to the Light…
Tonight, at Fisherman’s Village felt different. The harbor was peaceful, the boats rested quietly in their slips, and the sunset painted everything in warm shades of gold. One thing was missing though… my feathered friends. I couldn’t help but wonder if yesterday’s fireworks had sent them searching for a quieter place to spend the evening.
Even without them, beauty never stopped showing up.
The hibiscus flowers stretched toward the last rays of sunlight as if they were trying to hold onto one more moment of the day. Standing there, I found myself exactly where my little note said I should be:
“Sitting in gratitude, fully present, open, and aligned.”
Sometimes that’s all we need.
As I walked back to my car, I looked up one last time and saw the words painted high above me:
Be Kind.
Such a simple message, yet it felt perfectly timed. Kindness costs nothing, but it can change everything, beginning with the way we treat ourselves.
Another sunset. Another reminder. Another day by the sea that filled my heart with gratitude.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
