Morning Reflections
Surrounded by Wings…
There are mornings that just feel perfect, and this beautiful Friday morning on the pier was one of them.
The sky was incredible, filled with soft clouds and golden sunlight stretching across the beach and reflecting on the water. And, of course, I was surrounded by wings. 🕊️ The pigeons lined the railing, flew overhead and made the pier feel alive with their beautiful energy.
Standing there looking out over the ocean, I thought about today’s little reminder:
“We rise by lifting others.”
There is something so powerful about those words. Kindness doesn’t take anything away from us. Encouraging someone, helping someone, making someone smile or simply making another living soul feel seen somehow lifts us too.
Maybe that’s one of the reasons I love these mornings so much. The birds, the ocean, the sky and the sunlight remind me that life doesn’t have to be complicated to be beautiful. Sometimes happiness is simply noticing what is already surrounding us.
A beautiful sky above me, wings all around me and another brand-new day ahead.
