Evening Reflections

Sunday Sky Notes at Oxford Basin…

Tonight, at Oxford Basin, the sunset arrived gently. No loud colors competing for attention, just soft light fading behind the silhouettes of palm trees standing tall against the sky. The moon quietly watched from above while an airplane crossed overhead, drawing a moving line through the evening canvas.

The geese floated across the water as if they had nowhere they needed to be except exactly where they already were. A little duck drifted by too, carrying that peaceful reminder that not everything in life needs to be rushed.

One of my favorite things about evenings like this is how simple moments become the ones I remember most. No dramatic scene, no big event, just slowing down enough to notice what is already there.

My little message tonight felt fitting:

“Beautiful souls recognize beautiful souls. Keep being genuine. Your people will find you.”

Sometimes sunsets seem to say the same thing in their own language.

Grateful for moonlight, silhouettes, quiet waters, and another beautiful ending to the day.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
